Measuring Guide

Before ordering your furniture it is wise to check the access areas of your home and the route it will take to your chosen room. Please do not forget to measure the entrance to your property. Measurements that need to be checked would be the height, width and entry clearances of any hallways and accesses. Do not forget to take into account any banisters, turns and other obstacles that may be in the way.

Check staircase headroom and turning space for beds and wardrobes being taken upstairs.

All widths and diagonal lengths of items ordered need to be less than the entry dimensions. Solomons cannot accept any responsibility for furniture that is too large to get into your house. To avoid any embarrassment and cost of any potential problems, it is best to ensure that you measure prior to ordering.

Storage

We can store goods up to one month after we receive them (or anticipated delivery time if later). Thereafter the balance becomes payable and a storage charge would be applicable. We cannot store goods for more than three months, without prior agreement.
